KINZA is the projection of the Georgian friendship and hospitality in the heart of Spain. Our restaurant is formed with a traditional Georgian menu and history, which are rooted in the distant past.
Our restaurant is located on the street bearing the name of the oldest and most famous district of Tbilisi (Capital of Georgia)- Banys Vells.
Another interesting characteristic about the restaurant name is that Kinza (coriander) is one of the most beloved and widely used seasonings in Georgian cuisine. And Quinze in Catalan means the number 15 - the number of the building in which our restaurant is located. What a pun!
KINZA has two rooms. The decoration of one of them is based on the old Tbilisi style and the second one on the modern part of the city. Our team of Georgian chefs has been preparing dishes for our guests for many years.
On our website you can book a table in our restaurant, see the menu and discover our event formats.
We look forward to seeing you in our hospitable corner of Georgia!
Everything was delish. I definitely recommend this place. I found it while browsing on the Internet. It's right in the central part of Barcelona. Gorgeous location. I was at the restaurant with my child and she was asleep that's why the staff recommended us to sit in a small room. The background music was lovely the service was fast, and everyone speaks Russian, English, and Spanish. We were starving so we ordered many different dishes to try: khachapuri, kharcho, traditional georgian salad, Shkmeruli. They also have Georgian win. Thank you for a lovely dinner!
Kinza is the most authentic Georgian place I've been to in Barcelona! Literally in every aspect: location, ambience, service and most importantly - FOOD! There were four of us and we ordered to try a bit of everything: pkhali, Georgian green salad, Adjarian khachapuri, lamb kebab, khinkali with meat, baked trout. For me pkhali was not enough spicy. And from everything else, the taste buds were thrilled with happiness. The meat is delicious, the fish is very tender. But what can I say, there are no words in the language that could accurately convey our delight!
I came here with my friends to smoke shisha. The selection of brands of tobacco is not large, but there is an extensive palette of Alfaker and Starbuzz, a little adalia. Beverages are delicious. My friends loved the strawberry mojito, and I had a very tasty sangria, although Kinza is a Georgian cuisine restaurant. By the way, the cooks are Georgians, we haven't tried the cuisine, unfortunately. But the guys at the next table seemed delighted. Service is at the great level, they speak English, Spanish and Russian. Good luck guys with your business! Recommend!
The other day we were wondering "if there is Georgian food in Spain" and stumbled upon this restaurant! I saw by geolocation that they have hookah (which, by the way, we considered the best in the city!), And unexpectedly stumbled upon that very Georgian cuisine. We visited it two days in a row, the first evening the kitchen was already closed and we just smoked hookah and drank Kindzmarauli. On the second day we came to eat. Almost all the tables were occupied by both locals and tourists. We've enjoyed the food, one of the most delicious khachapuri! Thank you!
